2014 Hall of Fame Inductee
A multi-talented actress, writer, producer and director, Anne Lockhart is the fourth generation of performers in her family. Daughter of actress June Lockhart and Grand-daughter of actors Gene and Kathleen Lockhart, she is best remembered for her starring role as ‘Lt. Sheba’ in the spectacular series BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. Anne has had recurring television roles on the series BJ AND THE BEAR, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and KUNG FU: THE LEGEND CONTINUES.
A frequent television guest star on such high-rated series as CHASE, LAW & ORDER, NCIS and JAG, she is an audience favorite from her appearances on THE LYING GAME, DIAGNOSIS MURDER, DR.QUINN MEDICINE WOMAN and many others. Anne recently starred in the independent feature films DAKOTA’S SUMMER, BURIED, EX-TERMINATORS, SUNDOWN, REVAMPED, AVENGE, MALABAR, DIS-CONNECTED, DAYBREAK and CAHOOTS, on which she also served as co-producer.
A busy voice actress, Anne has lent her voice to such varied projects as PARKLAND,THE MUPPETS, TANGLED, IT’S COMPLICATED, BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA 2, THE TIME TRAVELERS WIFE, BOLT, ENCHANTED and THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM. Other films include STAR TREK, THE GREEN ZONE, THE LITTLE MERMAID, E.T., A BEAUTIFUL MIND, ROGER RABBIT and TITANIC. She has just completed her second season as a regular voice on NBC’s CHICAGO FIRE.
Anne is a founding member of the KINGSMEN SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL in Thousand Oaks, CA, and has appeared in acclaimed productions of JULIUS CAESAR, TWELFTH NIGHT, ROMEO AND JULIET, THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, RICHARD III, HENRY V, HENRY IV and OTHELLO. As a member of THE SANTA SUSANA REPERTORY COMPANY, Anne has appeared in multiple productions including ON GOLDEN POND, LOVE LETTERS and A CHRISTMAS CAROL. She produced and starred in WAR OF THE WORLDS for Santa Susana, winning the REP Award for Best Drama Production. She has performed her original one-woman piece FRENCHY McCORMICK as part of THE SOUL OF THE WEST from coast to coast since 1998, raising funds for the TCU Ranch Management School’s scholarship fund. This past year, she starred in THE LION IN WINTER for River City Repertory.
An accomplished rider, Anne has won championships in Cutting, Team Penning and Reining. Her love of horses led her to create the Ben Johnson Pro-Celebrity Rodeos in 1983, but her true passion is her 26 year association with The Roundup For Autism. Held each fall in Fort Worth, The Roundup benefits the Autism Treatment Centers of Texas.
Deeply committed to preserving and encouraging the Western way of life, Anne divides her time between California, Texas and a ranch in Montana. She is mother to Carly, born in 1987 and Zane, born in 1991.
